Many people assume that visiting a garden is a spring or summertime activity only, but this isn't so! More and more gardeners are striving to create a garden that is beautiful in all four seasons, including the winter. In Japan, people have been enjoying winter gardens for centuries. Broadleaf evergreens, conifers, berries, colourful bark, and even winter flowering shrubs (in the milder parts of Japan) are carefully chosen and sited to light up the landscape in the darkest months! Join Lyndon for a brief, illuminating presentation about how the Japanese make the most of even the frostiest and coldest months of the year!

10 -15 min presentation will be held in the 4 Season's Home and Comfort Presentation Tent. Located behind Pavilion on the north side of the Garden.

Included with admission to the Garden Winter Light Festival
