PLEASE NOTE: This event has been moved from January 17 to January 19 due to the weather!

Join us as we celebrate Seijin-no-hi or the Coming of Age Day for the first time at Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden!

Seijin no Hi is one of the most important national holidays in Japan and celebrates those who have turned 20, the age of majority in Japan, in the past year. The ceremony is considered a rite of passage and includes a presentation by a dignitary to remind the youth of their responsibilities now that they're an adult and encourage them in their future endeavours.

We welcome everyone to join us for this ceremony on January 19. Regular admission applies, however those who have/will be turning 20 between April 2019 and April 2020 will get in for FREE! (Please have ID with you)
